ABOUT US: The AMERICAN FEATURE FILM ACADEMY (the AFFA) was founded on the principle that Professional Filmmaking should be learned in a professional environment, not in a classroom nor by making short student films. At the Academy, you will WRITE, PRODUCE, DIRECT, SHOOT, EDIT, OR ACT IN HOLLYWOOD FEATURE FILMS THAT ARE RELEASED WORLDWIDE. There is no better way to launch your career, and only the AMERICAN FEATURE FILM ACADEMY offers this opportunity.

The AFFA Film School is structured as an "Exempt Institution" as that term is defined by the California Private Postsecdondary Education Act of 2009: Article 4, 94874 (f) "An institution that does not award degrees and that solely provides educational programs for total charges of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) or less..." The AFFA Film School does not award any kind of degree, as degrees are of no value in the film industry. Instead, the AFFA Film School offers the only credentials that do matter -- real world experience, training, and screen credits on feature films. And whether a student enrolls in one or all AFFA Film School programs (which differ only in focus, not content), the AFFA Film School charges only $2,500 in Tuition (or "Institutional Charges") and does not require any "Noninstitutional Charges" or other additional charges, such as for educational materials (books, software, hardware, etc), to participate in its programs. The AFFA Film School may make recommendations for 3rd party programs or for educational materials, but none are required to participate in any AFFA Film School program.
