During A.C.T., students rotate every 5 days from department to department on an actual feature film set until all Key Crew Positions have been thoroughly covered both in theory and practice.

Throughout this intensive phase, students experience real-world Post Production from the Editor’s, Assistant Editor's, and from the Post Production Supervisor’s perspective. Training progresses from Advanced Editing Techniques--achieving the Editor’s Cut, Director’s Cut, and Picture Lock--to dealing with various Post Production Services and Processes, including ADR, Foley, Music, and Mix.
These topics, along with HANDS-ON Training in FINAL CUT PRO or AVID Editing Systems, are covered theoretically and experientially during the Workshop, as students cut scenes based on collaborations with Academy Editors & Directors.
